0.1.5 - 2026-10-15
- Choose the order of phone messages on the phone. Each Message slot has a Position: 1 puts that message first on the watch, 2 second, and so on; messages left at 0 follow, in slot order. No need to retype a message into another slot to move it.
- A message whose text is only digits (for example 73) is no longer at risk of being ignored by the watch.
0.1.4 - 2026-10-15
- Your own messages come first. Messages you made on the watch or on the phone are now above the 26 ready-made ones, instead of after them. An existing list is rearranged this way once, on the first start after the update; "Restore default presets" also puts the defaults back after yours.
- Reorder messages on the watch. Options -> Messages -> a message -> Move up / Move down. The row shows the place reached ("3 / 28"); press again to keep moving. Any message can be moved, ready-made ones included.
- The phone sets the order of its messages. Messages typed in the phone settings appear at the top of the watch list in slot order (Message 1 first). Whenever you change that page (add, remove, edit or move a message to another slot), the phone messages are put back on top in slot order; while the page is unchanged, an order you chose on the watch stays.
- New messages go to the top. A message added on the watch (Messages -> Add message, or Save in Send by tap) appears first in the list rather than last.
- If the phone settings page still shows an "Add item" button, the phone is showing the old 0.1.2 page, which cannot save messages: update the app, and if the button is still there, delete the app from the watch and reinstall it from the store.
0.1.3 - 2026-10-15
- Phone messages can be saved again. The phone page now has 16 fixed "Message" slots, each with a name (optional), a text and a loop choice; a slot with no text is unused. The 0.1.2 growable list could not be saved by Garmin Connect (a Garmin bug with list settings), and a failed save could block every other setting too.
- Messages created from the old 0.1.2 list are kept on the watch as ordinary messages.
0.1.2 - 2026-10-03
- Loop per message. Each message can follow the general Loop option, or always loop, or always play once (Messages -> a message -> Loop, and on the phone).
- DOWN on the play screen switches loop for the message being played, and remembers it. Other buttons still stop.
- The first letter is no longer garbled on the first play after opening a message: the screen's slide-in held up the watch, and playback now waits for it and recovers from any later stall instead of squeezing the next gaps.
- Send by tap, Transcribe and Practice are left out of the 96 KB watches (Instinct 2 / 2S / 2X / Crossover, Descent G1) to keep the app within their memory. Every other watch keeps them.
- Fixes to the tap modes: a straight key now reads M as M (not TT); pauses between letters are kept when sending; Save keeps the letter being entered; a tap input the watch cannot use falls back to one it can; Practice keeps your speed between items and resumes after being interrupted.
0.1.1 - 2026-10-03
- Plays any message as Morse code by screen flash, LED flashlight, sound and vibration, each switchable, with standard ITU timing (dot 50 to 400 ms, dash and gaps settable).
- 26 ready-made messages in English, French, Spanish, German and Italian; up to 50 messages of your own, added, edited, renamed and deleted on the watch or typed on the phone.
- Send by tap, Transcribe and Practice, with five input methods (touch left/right, tap and hold, buttons, straight key, automatic).
- Every option on the watch and in the phone settings; interface in five languages.
